- Chief took medical leave but 'forgot' to tell Town Council
Part-time "Marshall" office that relies on mutual aid. Last time I saw the Marshall (not including shopping, out-of-jurisdiction), was at the "4th of July" parade...~6 months ago!
Time to CLEAN HOUSE at the Marshall's Office or abolish this Mickey-Mouse "Police Force" and let the Big Boys at HCSD handle enforcement for Pittsboro.
- Chief moved out of town, but still drives her town-issued Durango to Avon, Plainfield, and W. Indy to shop with her kids, etc. (but has hard time responding to calls, patrolling, etc.).
Then, about 6 or 10 years ago, one of the Marshall's "Officers" was buying stolen goods (from his relative), including a lap-top computer stolen from the local Electric Utility!
